Devi Mohan commenting about the tragic killing of 40 Indian soldiers in Kashmir

During Peace Pledge Pilgrimage at the Kumbha Mela, Devi Mohan was asked to comment about the recent tragic killing of 40 Indian soldiers in Kashmir. She highlighted that violence is never the answer, as has been seen in Former Yugoslavia and all previous wars and conflicts. She appealed to the parents and relatives of the soldiers to be the beacons of Ahimsa (nonviolence) and Ishwarapranidhana (surrender to the higher will) no matter how difficult this may be at the moments of severe pain of loss, because the cycle of violence must not continue…
